Current reigning icon of the indie realm Courtney Barnett will be performing at The Fillmore Philly on Tuesday, 10/23 with Philly’s own Waxahatchee (the music project of Katie Crutchfield). Tickets for the show are still available here, but you’ll wanna procure those tix with the quickness if you don’t want to miss out.

Courtney Barnett has remained busy since releasing her critically-beloved 2015 full length debut Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit – in 2017, she collaborated with local Philly legend Kurt Vile on the release of Lotta Sea Lice and then, in May 2018, released her follow-up solo LP Tell Me How You Really Feel. She also just released a new track called “Small Talk“, which was recorded during her Tell Me How You Really Feel sessions. It’s included in the 10 Years of Mom + Pop Compilation, which also features tracks from Metric, Neon Indian, Sleigh Bells, Lucius, Andrew Bird, and more. She’ll be playing a show celebrating 10 Years of Mom + Pop at Brooklyn Steel on Monday, 10/22, which includes a killer lineup of Mom + Pop artists. More info and tickets are available here.

This past summer, she recorded a live session of Tell Me How You Really Feel at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA. See the whole set here and watch her performance of “Nameless, Faceless” below.
