Swedish indie-folk duo First Aid Kit performed at The Fillmore Philly on 9/8/2018. Comprised of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, they’re currently in the midst of an international (North American/European/Australian) tour in support of their latest LP, Ruins. Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin was the opener.
While their latest LP Ruins was released only earlier this year, First Aid Kit will be releasing a new EP on 9/14 titled Tender Offerings. They treated the audience to a new song that will be featured on the EP called “I’ve Wanted You”. Harmonizing in a way that only true blood relatives can, the audience fell completely silent as if stunned by the sound of their voices; however, their mellow music gave way to intense cheering and roars.
