Phoebe Bridgers brought the sadness to a capacity crowd at Asbury Lanes on 7/31/2018. She beautifully performed songs from her 2017 debut LP Stranger in the Alps, as well as some covers (including a highly apropos cover of The Boss’ I’m On Fire).
On 8/1, she’ll be part of the stellar lineup of NPR Music’s free Turning the Tables show at the Bandshell in Damrosch Park in NYC. The lineup includes Carly Rae Jepsen, Jamila Woods, Mitski, and I’m With Her (the Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O’Donovan super-group). More information here.
Phoebe will be back in the area again in the Fall, with dates supporting The National and Cat Power
