Established in 2013, ROCKIN’ THE ‘BURBS is an independent online music publication based out of Central New Jersey. We cover live music events occurring throughout the Jersey tri-state, especially for indie, up-and-coming, and local DIY artists. We also feature occasional artist interviews, giveaways, and more.
We strive to give greater representation to women, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC artists and also advocate for increasing diversity in the pit. We’re always open to considering new contributors – if you’re interested, feel free to give us a shout! FYI, mentorship is available.
