Grammy Award-winning indie pop phenoms fun. performed at the Mann on Friday, 7/19 along with very special guests Tegan and Sara. fun. is currently in the middle of an extensive North American tour (see dates here) in support of their massively successful 2012 sophomore LP Some Nights.
Their show at the Mann marked their largest headlining performance to date and frontman Nate Ruess made his genuine and extreme gratitude known to the Philly crowd. As anticipated, the night was replete with audience sing-alongs, especially during the performance of their breakout single “We Are Young”. They also performed a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” (see full setlist below). For their encore, they ended the night with fan-favorite “Stars”, which is sure to be released as an upcoming single.
