Violinist extraordinaire Lindsey Stirling performed at the Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ on 5/9. She’s a classically trained violinist with crossover appeal in the vein of Vanessa Mae, but with a YouTube channel boasting over 2 million subscribers and 300 million video views (and counting). Below is her most popular video “Crystallize”, an original dubstep violin composition. In addition to her original compositions, she’s also known for her equally epic video game covers (e.g., Zelda, Skyrim, Assassin’s Creed, etc.) which inspire aspiring violinists and video game nerds alike.
